Wares to Wear: Make This Photo into an Outfit

aliciabock-photography913Stag & Stone Photographic Print by Alicia Bock

While it’s still mostly in the 80s and 90s around these parts, we’ve had a few cooler weather days hinting that Fall will eventually arrive. I cannot wait! There’s just something about the changing season makes me feel both cozy and energized at the same time. I kind of feel like this gorgeous photographic print by Alicia Bock has the same effect. It is rich, warm, and maybe even a little bit sultry…and the perfect inspiration for a Wares to Wear look. Don’t you agree?!

Wares to Wear: Make This Bouquet Into an Outfit

Right after my Color Crush series, Wares to Wear posts are a favorite of mine to put together. This time around I was inspired by a gorgeous floral arrangement from Scout to dream up an outfit translation that shows multiple ways (with an animated image) to mix and match just a few great pieces for looks that go from casual to dressy and back again. I hope you like what I came up with. xo Ez

Wares to Wear: Make This Artwork Into An Outfit

I came across this gorgeous artwork by Oana Befort a couple weeks ago and couldn’t wait to translate it into a sartorial match. Too bad the outfit hasn’t also magically appeared in my closet. I kind of want everything!

Psst…you can find my past Wares to Wear posts here.

Wares to Wear: Make This Photo Into Two Work Outfits

My daily blogger work uniform generally consists of jeans and some form of a knit tee (obligatory striped top likely). Not exactly Vogue magazine worthy…although I have to admit that I’d feel awfully silly pasted in front of my computer screen in a chic pant suit with only my two dogs to impress. Necessity (or lack there of) aside, the upcoming Fall season has me dreaming of a pretty work wardrobe (maybe it will come in handy for you), and I found inspiration for two looks in this gorgeous image. Just add a lightweight blazer for cooler days and you’re good to go! xo Ez

From Wares to Wear: Make This Photo into an Outfit

I came across this beautiful photograph by Max Attenborough the other day (via Lolalina) and almost immediately afterwards stumbled upon this vibrant pink dress that is nearly a perfect color match for the chair in the photo. And just like that, a new Wares to Wear post was born. Yay! If you’d like to check out my past wearable translations of images and products that inspire me, you can find those posts here. xo Ez
