Hi Friends! I’ve been super busy over here with some exciting DIY projects that I can’t wait to share with you in the coming weeks. So while I had big plans for today’s post, it turns out that something a bit more low-key will have to do the trick instead.

Without delving into any nitty-gritty details, life has recently thrown quite a lot of challenges my way (some that effect me personally and others that effect loved ones). These unexpected and unwanted “surprises” have caught me off guard, and some days it has been more difficult than others to look for / appreciate the simple beauty in life, when hiding in bed under a mound of blankets feels so much more appealing. But I know from experience that on “those” days…the really bad ones…those are the times to really push myself to keep seeking beauty. So I’m hanging in there, striving to be grateful in spite of the negatives, and forging forward. I don’t know what the outcome of any of these struggles will be just yet, but I do know that good will come out of them (even if it doesn’t feel that way right now). This quote by Margaret Drabble, seems especially fitting for my current state of uncertainty, maybe it will resonate with you too.

“When nothing is sure, everything is possible.”
