Book List: BiblioCraft

The cover of this gorgeous new book; BiblioCraft written by Jessica Pigza and published by Abrams Books, immediately caught my eye. When I discovered that it is no ordinary craft book…but one that encourages creative projects inspired by vintage or long forgotten books from the library (or even your own bookshelf), I was captivated! BiblioCraft includes 20+ projects to get your creative ideas flowing, from some of my favorite designers (i.e. Heather Ross and Design*Sponge founder Grace Bonney—just to name a couple). Every page is sure to be packed full of goodness.

I have had a lifelong love affair with old books (creative end pages being a particular favorite of mine) and have spent countless hours of my life wandering the isles of libraries and used book stores with no motive other than to just see what inspiration lies in wait for me. So it goes without saying that I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of BiblioCraft!

If you’re interested too, BiblioCraft is available through Abrams Books and on Amazon.

I actually own a few books from the 1800 and I love the stories that they carry along with them. Many of them have handwritten notes in them like: Merry Christmas, to my love, 1802. or comments on the lines of poetry in the books.
I find there’s something so beautiful and reminiscent about old books! Lovely post, thanks for letting us know!
