Everything is Possible

everythingispossibleHi Friends! I’ve been super busy over here with some exciting DIY projects that I can’t wait to share with you in the coming weeks. So while I had big plans for today’s post, it turns out that something a bit more low-key will have to do the trick instead.

Without delving into any nitty-gritty details, life has recently thrown quite a lot of challenges my way (some that effect me personally and others that effect loved ones). These unexpected and unwanted “surprises” have caught me off guard, and some days it has been more difficult than others to look for / appreciate the simple beauty in life, when hiding in bed under a mound of blankets feels so much more appealing. But I know from experience that on “those” days…the really bad ones…those are the times to really push myself to keep seeking beauty. So I’m hanging in there, striving to be grateful in spite of the negatives, and forging forward. I don’t know what the outcome of any of these struggles will be just yet, but I do know that good will come out of them (even if it doesn’t feel that way right now). This quote by Margaret Drabble, seems especially fitting for my current state of uncertainty, maybe it will resonate with you too.

“When nothing is sure, everything is possible.”

Wishing you a beautiful weekend filled with endless possibilities! xo Ez

Oh, yes. Everything is kind of hairy right now.

All three of my grown kids and their loved ones are going through some very rough…stuff…ahem…right now. This month has brought a kind of cross roads for my husband and I as well. So this quote is extremely apropos for us today. I am going to print it and put it on the fridge to remind us of the possibilities for great good ahead.

Thank you, Ez. And may you find perfect peace, too.

I love that quote, Ez. I’ve found that an attitude of abundance and seeking creative opportunities can be the best mental game-changer when life hits hard. Sending warm thoughts to you & yours during this transition.

I have found that the saying ”this too, shall pass” really is a helpful reminder that every thing and every situation will pass (even the good times but in the end they always come back!)
I found that focusing on this saying was comforting when my husband suddenly passed away last year from a brain aneurysm. It helped me to stay sane through the dreadful painful months that followed. And now finally, life feels much easier and I am now enjoying some happy times and have hope for the future.
I hope you get to the happier times soon too!
