Bookish: Paper to Petal

papertopetalbookcoverOver on Pinterest the other day I spotted and immediately had to pre-order the new book Paper to Petal, written by Rebecca Thuss and Patrick Farrell. Their paper flower work inspired a recent Color Crush post here on Creature Comforts, and I just can’t wait to get my hands on their gorgeous book filled with “75 whimsical paper flowers to craft by hand!” That little striped flower peeking out at the bottom of the book cover (above) is calling my name!

Gah, like I need another craft medium! :) These look lovely and are right up my alley since I kill real flowers.

i always wanted to have the big flower brooches from emerson made and then i thought too long about it and now they discontinued to make them. now i’m looking forward to this book so i can make me a BIG paper brooch! or maybe i can transfer those ideas to make a fabric flower as well. super! can’t wait! thank you for the inspiration.
