Souvenir Foto School: Day 25 – I for Ink

Souvenir Foto School: I is for Ink

I’ve always wanted to learn the art of calligraphy, but until that happens I just play at it and pretend like I know what I’m doing (P.S. I don’t). I hope your weekend is shaping up to be a lovely one so far. See you on Monday! xo Ez

If you’d like you can also find all my images in individual and diptych form for this month-long class challenge over in my flickr album. | Souvenir Foto School is offered by Besotted Brand.

That's so pretty! I don't think you need much teaching–but a class or book would probably be full of new styles to try and that would be fun, no?

Lovely! I have *always* wanted to learn as well, and I just took a class two weeks ago (at Fifteen/Eleven in Alexandria–what a treat)! I got a book and some supplies for Christmas, but I felt like I needed to see it in person. It really helped. Now I am just trying to figure out how to take the "learned" letter forms and mix it with my own style and make it my own. I love these photographs–the styling in the first one with the notecard on the book is so pretty.

    P. S. I have always liked your handwriting whenever it shows up in your pictures. :)
